Living in A Small Town or in A City

Depending on where you were brought up and your individual personality, you might prefer living in the big city, where things are happening 24 hours a day, rather than being surrounded by fields and the more relaxed pace. Many people seem to think city life is too fast paced or too fake for them to enjoy a city life. There are many reasons why I love the city life compare than live in a small town. They are in terms of transportation, environment, educational institutions and job opportunities.

Cities offer many means of public transportation, including taxis, buses and airports. All of these transportations are run late into the night and are much more frequent. Hearing all of the hustle and bustle going on out side of my house, seems to give me a since, that I am not alone in this world. In a small town, the transportations are hard to find. Some of the residents do not have transportation. Living in a small town for me seems to be very dull life. There is nothing like living in the city, because to me the life will be too quiet.

Most major cities have a large of educational opportunities. There are many well-respected universities and specialized trade schools. For example, fashion and music schools are sometimes only found in major cities. Most city centre schools for children are equipped with educational resources not offered in other schools. In small town, there are good schools, safe areas and lots of playmates are available. On the other hand, areas like this tend to be sheltered from the real world. Also, when teenagers get off for college and things they often experience a big culture shock. Entering the real world after growing up in the clean, well groomed society they were used to is a big change.

It is a fact that the bigger a city is, the more places to work it offers. Besides that, those shopping malls are requiring workers for a huge number of employees, big and small businesses, restaurants and cafes. On the one hand, chances to find a job in a big city are really higher more than in a small town. More job opportunities in a big city that illustrate how many people apply for an average job position. Many people move from small towns to big cities get a really good job. It is because in a small town job opportunities are very little.

In conclusion, living in the city can be a very exciting place to live and work. It is because, city life has many things to offer from entertainment and the people that live here. Many people grew up in the city and others are stuck in the city for financial reasons. I on the other hand got to see my little town grow up to become a major city. That is why I love the city so much, because I have lived in both worlds.
